Israel Minister of Health Joseph Serlin was today received by Dr. Ramon Carillo, Argentine Health Minister, and the two men discussed technical aspects of the work of their ministries. Mr. Serlin is visiting Argentina as an official guest of the Peron government.
In a statement to the Jewish press here, Mr. Serlin stressed the high opinion of Argentine Jewry held by Premier Moshe Sharett, who last year visited this country and stayed almost a month. He added that in Israel, Argentine Jewry was considered a symbol of Jewish national solidarity.
