A high speed electronic computer was purchased in the United States recently by the Israel Defense Ministry for use by the Army and other security forces it was announced today. The computer, which has a reading capacity of 180, 000 letters per second, compares with a computer now in use at the Weizmann Institute which has 2, 000 letter per second capacity.
