Israel Cabinet Discusses Bandung Developments, Security Problems

The Israel Cabinet decided to extend Israel’s territorial waters from three miles offshore to six miles. The Cabinet also discussed the international scene, including developments at the Asian-African conference at Bandung, Indonesia, and security problems. Premier Moshe Sharett and Defense Minister David Ben Gurion reported on various developments.

Maj. Gen. Lucas Beau, commander of the United States CivilAir Patrol, arrived in Israel last night for a three-day visit in connection with an exchange of visits by Israel and American youths interested in flying. Five Israel teen-agers will shortly leave for the U.S., while five American youths will receive training at Israel bases.
