The Cabinet yesterday extended greetings to former Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion on the occasion of his 80th birthday which will occur this year on October 1 (the 17th day of Tishri).
In marking the event, the Cabinet statement declared: “The Government of Israel notes with gratitude the historic service of David Ben-Gurion to the State of Israel, its establishment, its security and ingathering of exiles and wishes him health and many more years.”
