Israel claimed it thwarted 16 Palestinian terrorist attacks during the past month. Army Radio reported that Israeli forces killed 20 terrorists and their accomplices in the last month. Israeli officials said the terrorists intended to carry out eight suicide bombings, as well as shooting attacks and roadside bombings in the West Bank.
