Israel completed its Lebanon troop withdrawal. The last of Israel’s soldiers and military vehicles left southern Lebanon on Sunday, completing a handover of former Hezbollah strongholds to the Lebanese army and U.N. peacekeepers. The pullout was small in scale; 90 percent of Israeli forces had already quit Lebanese territory since an August 14 truce ended the summer war with Hezbollah.
