Avraham Harman, Israel Consul General in Canada, has announced that Israel is interested in purchasing automobiles and trucks manufactured in Canada and large supplies of Canadian wheat. Mr. Harman, who was in Windsor to attend a regional meeting of the Zionist Organization of Canada, made his announcement at a press conference prior to the meeting.
He emphasized the importance of the development of international trade for Israel’s prosperity. He declared that both the agricultural and industrial development of his country is progressing rapidly, stimulated by an immigration rate of 18,000 persons a month.
