Israel could halt its assassinations of senior Palestinian terrorists if they cease fire, an Israeli Cabinet minister said. Ehud Olmert denied a Ma’ariv report Wednesday that the controversial track-and-kill missions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip had been called off in return for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ efforts to win a truce from armed factions, but did not rule out such a decision in the future.
