Israel Deputy Minister Waives Immunity to Face Court Trial

Rabbi Shlomo Rosenberg, Deputy Minister of Welfare, waived today his Parliamentary immunity to enable the Attorney General to file an action against him alleging breach of the foreign currency regulations. The charge specifies that Rabbi Rosenberg violated the law when he transferred certain monies from Switzerland to a Mizrachi institution in Israel.
