The Rumanian News Agency, Agerpress, announced last night that Yochanan Erez, third secretary of the Israel Legation in Bucharest, had been declared persona non grata.
The news agency said that the Rumanian Foreign Ministry had told Shmuel Bendor, the Israel Minister to Rumania, that Mr, Erez had for some time carried on “activity incompatible with diplomatic rules.”
