Israel eased a closure imposed on the West Bank and Gaza Strip, allowing entry to 22,000 Palestinian workers and businessmen. The closure came in the wake of threats by Hamas officials to retaliate for the recent killings of two leaders of the group’s military wing by Israeli security forces.
