The Israel embassy announced today that Ezra Hayut has arrived from Israel to assume duties as labor attach, a newly-created post on the embassy staff. Mr. Hayut will be in contact with the U.S. Department of Labor and the leading American unions. His last position was that of regional director for southern Israel of the Jewish Agency’s immigrant absorption department. He also served in Israel with the labor relations department of the Histadrut.
