West German Refugee Minister Ernst Lemmer was reported reliably here today to be the first German Minister to receive an official invitation from the Israel Government to visit Israel. The Minister was understood to have accepted the invitation and will visit Israel at the end of next November.
Dr. Lemmer is known for his pro-Israel attitude and for his active role for establishment of diplomatic relations with Israel during the past year.
