Israel finalized a deal to hand over the first of five West Bank cities to the Palestinian Authority. The new schedule was set in overnight negotiations Monday following several disputes over the scope of Israeli troop withdrawals. Jericho is slated to go first, on Wednesday, followed by Tulkarm and Kalkilya next week. No date has been set yet for the Palestinian Authority to resume control of the last two cities on the roster, Ramallah and Bethlehem.
