Israel Finance Minister Levi Eshkol today visited with a number of high Washington officials in what was described as “courtesy calls.”
He met at the State Department with Under Secretary Christian A. Herter and others. Mr. Eshkol was accompanied by Ambassador Abba Eban and Economic Minister Meir Sherman. Mr. Eshkol also met with Secretary of Agriculture Ezra Taft Benson.
