The warning to Jordan was given by the Israel Minister through Gen. William E. Riley, head of the United Nations Armistice Commission.

Mr. Sharett also reported to the Cabinet on diplomatic steps taken by the Israel ambassadors in Washington and in London with regard to the repeated Arab attacks on Israelis settlements along the Jordan-Israel frontier.

The French Ambassador, the Turkish Minister and the British Charge Affairs today called on Emile Najar, director of the West European Department of Israel’s Foreign Ministry, and received information on the latest developments in the Israel-Jordan border situation.
