Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, opened her official visit to France today by conferring with French Foreign Minister Christian Pineau. Tomorrow, Mrs. Meir will conclude the official portion of her visit by meeting with Premier Maurice Bourges-Maunoury.
Neither French nor Israeli official sources would comment on the Pineau-Meir meeting. Later, Mrs, Meir lunched with the France-Israel Committee, composed of deputies of the French National Council. A communique is expected late this evening. The Israeli Minister also saw Guy Mollet, former French Premier, today. At the conclusion of her official visit, Mrs. Meir will proceed to Britanny for a short vacation.
