Israel had asked the United States and Britain to isolate the suspected mastermind of Sunday’s suicide bombing in Netanya. Israel Radio reported that the government had asked that the leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Ahmed Sa’adat, be placed in isolation Saturday, one day before the bombing was carried out.
