Israel is banning the entry of Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza Strip from Wednesday until Saturday while the Jewish state holds remembrances for its war dead and celebrates its jubilee, according to army sources. The army said the Oslo accords contained provisions for such holiday closures. Israeli security forces have been on heightened alert for a terror attack during the holiday period.
