Israel is holding a large-scale war game. The four-day exercise, which began Monday, will feature drills for the military and political echelons with a view toward applying lessons learned from last year’s Lebanon war. Scenarios will include small-scale border confrontations as well as full-scale war. In order to boost the top Israeli brass, many of whom do not have extensive combat experience, several retired generals were mobilized for the drill with orders to share their acumen.
