Israel is in talks to free a Bedouin citizen imprisoned in Egypt on espionage charges. Jerusalem sources said Wednesday that Israel’s ambassador to Cairo, Shalom Cohen, had met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit to discuss the 21-year-old former Negev resident who was arrested four years ago after crossing the border into Sinai.
