Israel named a replacement for outgoing Shin Bet director Avi Dichter. Yuval Diskin, a 27-year veteran of the domestic security service with extensive experience in fighting Palestinian terror, will take over from Dichter when he retires in May, the Prime Minister’s Office said Thursday.
