Israel Newspapers to Get Less Newsprint in Government Move to Save Foreign Currency

Newsprint allocations to the newspapers of Israel will be cut by 121/2 percent in the government’s current campaign to conserve its dwindling supply of foreign currency, it was announced here today. Originally the cut was set for 25 percent, but after conferences between the publishers and Supply Minister Dov Joseph the figure was changed.
