A nationwide program of events commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Henrietta Szold, founder of Hadassah, was announced here by the Szold Centennial Committee.
The celebration will be launched in December with ceremonies at the Knesset and the President’s residence. The program, which will be carried out over a six-month period. will include conferences, meetings and symposia mostly devoted to problems of youth. social services and health fields in which Henrietta Szold pioneered in Israel.
