Israel President Recovers from Pneumonia; Ordered to Rest

President Itzhak Ben Zvi was ordered by his physicians today to abstain from participating in the Independence Day festivities because of his health. He is now convalescing after recovering from pneumonia and was advised to take a complete rest. Where protocol requires the Presidents presence, he will be replaced by Joseph Sprinzak. Speaker of the Israel Parliament.
