Israel said the Palestinian Authority was responsible for a car bombing in the heart of Jerusalem because it had recently freed Islamic militants from jail. Israeli Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh called the militants “animals of prey” and said the Palestinian Authority “must return them to the cage as fast as possible.”
