Israel Sends Rich and Sugar to Famine-stricken People of Dahomey

A shipment consisting of 400 tons of rice and sugar was loaded aboard the Israeli freighter A lon at Haifa today as a gift from Israel to the famine-stricken people of Dahomey. The African republic’s Ambassador here, Jean Baptiste Mockey, attended a ceremony aboard the ship, formally accepting the gift on behalf of his government.

At the Wingate Sports Center at Nathanya, today, 22 young Africans from seven countries received teachers’ certificates as graduates of a physical education course in this country. They studied here for 10 months.
