Israel Staff Sergeant Melech Reichner was today sentenced by a military court to 10 years imprisonment following his conviction on charges of releasing military secrets and documents to two Israel Communist leaders.

The Communists, Gustov Golubner and Rudi Winter, were arrested in January during a Communist demonstration in Jerusalem against Henry Morgenthau, Jr., general chairman of the United Jewish Appeal. Sgt. Reichner was born in Rumania.
