Israel Singer Entertains British Queen at Buckingham Palace

Queen Elizabeth II and other members of the royal family were entertained at Buckingham Palace last night by an Israeli actor and singer, Theodor Bikel.

Mr. Bikel, who has starred in a number of London productions, was invited to the palace where he sang many Israeli folk songs, accompanying himself on a guitar. He was formerly a member of the Habimah, famed Israeli theatre troupe.
