Israel is not included among 21 nations which have been invited to attend a conference called by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization to deal with the problem of desert locusts in the coming year, despite the fact that Israel is one of the nations of the Middle East vitally affected by the invasion of the pests. Virtually every nation of the Middle East and observers from the Arab League have been invited to the parley which opens next Monday.
