The Collectors of Religion on Stamps Society–COROS–announced here that an Israeli stamp depicting a lighted menorah has been voted the annual award for the outstanding Jewish theme on postage stamps issued during 1955. The Society by presenting awards for the most outstanding religious design and Roman Catholic, Protestant and Jewish themes on postage stamps, hopes to encourage spiritual themes on postage stamps.
