Israel wants to create an international commission to combat anti-Semitism. “We are in a situation of emergency,” Israel’s deputy foreign minster, Rabbi Michael Melchior, said Monday, referring to a recent surge of anti-Semitic attacks across Europe that are believed to be linked to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
