Israel was behind Britain’s arrest of a former Iranian diplomat, Iran charged. The charges regarding Hadi Soleimanpour, arrested in connection with the deadly 1994 bombing at the AMIA Jewish center in Buenos Aires, came after Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said last week that terrorists being held in Europe could be released as part of a deal for missing Israeli airman Ron Arad. Sharon did not specify which terrorists he was referring to.
