Israel will continue its anti-terror operations in the Gaza Strip, Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz said Tuesday. Speaking during a visit to army units serving in southern Gaza, Mofaz also said that during the past two years, Israeli forces had destroyed some 50 underground tunnels used by Palestinians to smuggle weapons into Gaza from Egypt.
