Israeli and Palestinian officials said they are ready to work with U.S. envoy Anthony Zinni on a truce. Speaking before Zinni arrived in the region Thursday, the two sides said they were committed to reaching a cease- fire. At the same time, however, each said it would continue fighting if the other did not stop the violence.
