Israeli Arabs protested Israel’s military actions in Lebanon. Organized in part by Knesset member Jamal Zahalka of the Balad Party, Sunday’s demonstration in Umm el-Fahm in the Galilee drew at least 700 Israeli Arabs. The protesters shouted slogans such as, “Israel is a terror state,” and “Our people in Gaza and Lebanon will not surrender,” Ha’aretz reported.
