Israeli author Amos Oz won a top Spanish literary prize. The 68-year-old novelist and peace activist won the 2007 Prince of Asturias Award for Letters in recognition of his efforts to help end the Palestinian crisis and curb religious extremism. Oz recently recaptured international attention with his critically acclaimed memoir “A Tale of Love and Darkness.” “If I have to say in one word what my entire literary work is all about, I would say families,” he said in a statement. “If I had two words, I would say unhappy families.”
