Israeli Cabinet members traded barbs over a report showing that Israeli government policy decisions do not take the Diaspora into consideration. Commenting on last week’s findings by the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute, Justice Minister Yosef “Tommy” Lapid said Israel should resolve a growing rift with Diaspora Jews by reducing Orthodox power in Israel.
