Israeli forces killed two Palestinian terrorists in the West Bank.
Commandos raided the hideout of two Islamic Jihad fugitives south of Jenin early Thursday, killing them in the ensuing clash.
One of the dead was identified as a senior commander of the terrorist group.
There were no Israeli casualties in the incident.
The killings come one day after up to 20 Palestinian gunmen and civilians were killed in Israeli attacks, following the killing of three Israeli soldiers during an operation in the Gaza Strip.
