Frederick Sylvester, a Briton charged with espionage for the Arabs, will not be tried on the additional charge that he participated in the Ben Yehuda Street bombing in Jerusalem early this year, the Israeli Attorney General today informed the Jerusalem District Court in which he was to have stood trial.

This leaves only the espionage charge pending, with the same court due to render a decision within a week, The court acquitted George William Hawkins, a fellow defendant of Sylvester’s, of the espionage charge when the trial ended, some ten days ago.
