Israeli media did not provide an accurate portrayal of last year’s Gaza Strip withdrawal, a watchdog group said. According a report issued this week by The Center for the Protection of Democracy in Israel, local reports on the two-month withdrawal operation focused too closely and emotively on Gaza settlers and the security forces evacuating them, with insufficient political context.
