Israeli media reported that the attorney general is considering bringing charges against two Lebanese nationals, Mustafa Dirani and Sheik Abdel Karim Obeid, who have been held in Israel without trial. The two Shi’ite officials are believed to have been affiliated with groups directly involved in the captivity of Israeli air navigator Ron Arad, whose plane was shot down over Lebanon in 1986.
