Israeli Melody is Among Most Popular Tunes Played in Moscow Restaurants

One of the most popular tunes played by orchestras in Moscow in hotels and restaurants is the Hebrew melody “Hava Negilah,” it was reported in The New York Times yesterday from the Soviet capital. The song is enthusiastically received by diners who frequently dance to it, the correspondent said in his cable.
