Israeli Office of Custodian for Enemy Property Will Be Transferred to Jerusalem

The first Israeli Government department to be transferred from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem will be that of the Custodian for Enemy Property, it was reported here today by Israeli Military Governor Dr. Bernard Joseph. The department will move to Jerusalem next week.

The Ministry of Religion and several other government offices will be moved area thereafter, Dr. Joseph said. He revealed that settlement of the Ein Karim area, located nearby, where semi-agricultural housing units will be established, has already begun.
