Israeli officials indicted a former Israel Defense Force official, according to Israel Radio. Details of the indictment filed last week against retired Brig. Gen. Itzhak Ya’acov, 75, were released in Israel after the British Sunday Times newspaper said he had been arrested in Jerusalem. Israel Radio said Ya’acov was accused of “passing secret information stemming from his military service to unauthorized authorities, with the intention of harming state security.”
