Israeli police arrested a Haifa man suspected of hacking into computers of a U.S.-based company and stealing the personal information of some 80,000 people. According to details released Sunday, David Sternberg was arrested Friday while driving in a stolen car, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported.

Some 3,000 women are smuggled into Israel every year to work as sex slaves, according to a Knesset committee. Most of the women are from Eastern Europe. They are sold for $3,000 to $6,000 apiece, the committee said in a report issued Sunday.
