Israeli police questioned Jerusalem’s top Muslim cleric Tuesday for alleged incitement to violence. Sheik Ekrima Sabri was questioned regarding comments he made in June to a Palestinian newspaper that appeared to sanction Palestinian suicide bombings against the Israeli presence in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Sabri was released after three hours of questioning.
