Israeli police razed a West Bank settler outpost.

Police and troops on Thursday forcibly removed the four structures at Har Hivi, an outpost erected near the settlement of Kedumim.

Six settlers were arrested for attacking Israeli security forces during the demolition, police said.

The U.S.-led “road map” to peace with the Palestinians obligates Israel to remove all settlements built without government permission in the West Bank since March 2001.

Israeli compliance has been patchy, but the Olmert government has indicated it will crack down on the outposts as part of efforts to build confidence in the upcoming Annapolis peace conference.
