Israeli politician Natan Sharansky said he told Vice President-elect Dick Cheney that the peace plan proposed by President Clinton “has absolutely no chance of being approved by the Israeli public,” and that the role of the next White House “should not be to draw maps, but to create an atmosphere for dialogue.”
