Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon flew to Moscow for talks on Iran’s nuclear program. Defense officials accompanying Sharon on Sunday were also expected to seal Israel’s deal to sell India Phalcon radar systems mounted on Russian Ilyushin aircraft. Russian President Vladimir Putin, while friendly to the Jewish state, is seen as having done little to curtail Moscow’s atomic assistance to Tehran.
